Hartsfield Elementary Daily Academic Schedule

I. Morning Preparation for Learning

• Campus Entry & Breakfast Service: 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Students are encouraged to utilize this time for breakfast and prepare for the instructional day.
• Guided Classroom Transition: Beginning at 7:45 a.m., students will move to their respective classrooms to organize materials and begin morning routines.
• Formal Instruction Begins (Tardy Protocol): 8:00 a.m. Prompt arrival ensures students maximize their learning opportunities from the start of the instructional day.

II. Core Instructional Block

• Early Elementary (Pre-K – 1st Grade): 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Dedicated time for foundational academic skills and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Upper Elementary (2nd – 5th Grade): 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Focused instruction across core subjects, fostering critical thinking and deeper learning.

III. End of Academic Day

• Dismissal (Pre-K – 1st Grade): 3:00 p.m.
• Dismissal (2nd – 5th Grade): 4:00 p.m.
